Who we are
Havilah Investments and Mining (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/552658/07, of 15 Wynberg Crescent, Modelpark, Witbank, Mpumalanga, 1035, South Africa, is the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect: your company name, your name, role, business email and telephone number, country of registration and company registration number; details of the commodity or requirement you describe (specification, quantity, delivery terms, pricing expectations); which supporting documentation you indicate you already hold; and any free-text message you provide.
Why we collect it
To assess and respond to your enquiry, and — where an origination relationship proceeds — to carry out counterparty verification, due diligence, and the steps of our trade protocol. We process this information on the basis of your consent in submitting the form, and as necessary to take steps you request prior to entering into an agreement.
Retention
Enquiry and counterparty information is retained for seven years from the date of last activity on the record, after which it is scheduled for deletion.
Where it is stored
Our systems are hosted on infrastructure located in the European Union. By submitting your information you acknowledge that it may be processed and stored outside South Africa, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sales@havilahinvestments.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and encryption of data in transit.
